Bookscanned Usage Agreement

You agree to upload only genealogy and family history related materials.

You agree to only upload materials which you have appropriate copyright for. Eg. your own works, works you have permission to publicly distribute, public domain works, etc.

All books uploaded to this site are publicly viewable on the internet. In order to prevent identity theft, you agree to not upload materials which contain information about living persons, unless each living person has given you permission to do so.

Family Scan will not give or sell your email address to anybody without your consent. If you choose to make your email address public through your Bookscanned.com preferences, users will be able to view it after filling out a simple form.

You grant Bookscanned a perpetual non-exclusive license to use materials you upload for non-profit and commercial purposes.

You understand Bookscanned provides a free service, and will not be held liable for data loss. We will however do our best to keep your books and data safe. We makes no guarantees as to the accuracy or availability of our site or the data on the site.
